St. Bonaventure expanded on its 2-1 lead in the top of the eighth inning when Radwan delivered a double to right center that scored junior Derek Speaker from third and senior Nick Cunliffe all the way from first to make it 4-1.

The Bonnies turned to senior Cory Sudbrook to close the door, as the program's all-time leader in pitching appearances tossed a scoreless eighth and got two outs in the ninth before leaving the game with runners on first and second. Freshman Billy Urban replaced Sudbrook, walking his first batter to load the bases before getting a game-ending ground out. The save was the third of the year for Urban.
