Buffalo, Bowling Green Up Next For Women's Soccer

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — After back-to-back games on the road last weekend, the Bonnies hit the road tonight to battle Buffalo before returning to McGraw-Jennings Field on Sunday to match up with Bowling Green.

Friday's meeting between the Bonnies (1-2-0) and Bulls (0-3-0) will mark the 22nd time that the two sides have met on the pitch, with the series deadlocked at 10-10-1. The Bulls are searching for their first win of the season after dropping their first three road games of the year – Pitt (4-1), Wyoming (3-0) and Denver (3-0). The Bonnies, who opened the season with a win over visiting Bucknell, have suffered losses in their last two after falling at DePaul (1-0) and at Purdue (4-1).

On Sunday, St. Bonaventure returns to its home field for the first time in four games to host Bowling Green (0-4-0). The Falcons have played each of their first four games at home and will play a Friday-Sunday series in western New York in search of a victory. The Falcons will play Niagara on Friday before their meeting with the Bonnies.

Following this weekend's action, the Bonnies will head to the Nike/Raider Invitational hosted by Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. The Brown and White are scheduled to play Cornell at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 and will face off against the host Raiders on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
