ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – After winning its finale in a three-game set against Marshall on Sunday, the baseball team (6-10) failed carry the momentum into a doubleheader against Big 4 rival University at Buffalo (7-11) on Tuesday, dropping game one, 7-1, and game two, 11-3.

Bonaventure got its lone run of the contest in the bottom of the 5th when Eric Jutca singled home catcher Michael Grieco from third, who had reached with a lead-off hit.
Revello pitched six innings, surrendering seven runs, but only two of which were earned as the Bona defense committed three errors on the day. The Bonnies pounded out six hits, receiving multi-bid efforts from Grieco, who finished 2-for-3, and left fielder Nick Brennen, who was a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk.
