Baseball Visits UB to Complete Season Series

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Coming off a 2-1 series win against Fordham over the weekend the baseball team (8-15, 2-4) looks to continue their winning ways at Buffalo, where they'll play a double header tomorrow.

The Bonnies had lost their previous six games before topping Fordham 6-5 on Friday evening powered by 3.2 solid innings from Cael Johnson in relief. The Bonnies took the second game of the series behind eight innings from starter Eddie Gray that included six strikeouts and only one earned run.

Earlier this season the Bonnies were swept by Buffalo (7-21, 0-9) in a double-header at McGraw-Jennings Field, losing the first game 7-1 and the second 11-3.

The first game is set to start at 2 p.m. with the second starting shortly after game one is over. Nick Brennan is the likely game-one starter for the Bonnies.
