After losing to host Charlotte last weekend, the Bonaventure women's tennis team (5-6) defeated Binghamton (4-7) 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at the SBU Indoor Tennis Courts.
The doubles duo of Amanda Pallikunnel and Marissa Brossard defeated the paring of Marina Bykovskaya and Katherine Medianik 8-6. Fatya Amiri and Manuela Marin-Salcedo earned an 8-6 victory over Jillian Santos and Missy Edellblum and gave Bonaventure the doubles point.
In singles action Marin-Salcedo won a three-set match against Santos to give Bonaventure the decisive fourth point. Amiri also picked up a win against Jennifer Fridman and Pallikunnel defeated Taylor Hollander.
The Bonnies next match will be on the road as they take on Colgate.
