WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure University women's tennis senior Tamara Bachmann and freshman Sara Montano Parada have been selected as the Atlantic 10 Player and Rookie of the Week, officials announced Tuesday.

Bachmann and Montano Parada teamed up to help the Bonnies win the doubles point in a 5-2 win over Duquesne last Saturday, defeating the Dukes, 7-5, at the top spot.

In singles action, Montano Parada bested Naomi Lalonde at No. 1 singles in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

Bachmann also scored a straight set win in singles, scoring a 6-2, 6-1 win over Alexandra O'Brian at the No. 2 spot.

The Bonnies wrap up the regular season Saturday, April 11 when they host Slippery Rock.
