ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure (3-10, 0-7 Atlantic 10) let an early three-goal lead slip away in a 17-11 loss to George Washington (10-6, 4-3) at McGraw-Jennings Field on Sunday.

Bona senior Danielle Drabin finished with three goals in her final game, making 127 for her career, the fifth most in program history. The Rochester, N.Y. native tallied also distributed 42 assists across her four seasons, the fifth highest in program annals, while her 169 points are good for seventh all-time.

Four different Bonnies scored over the opening 10:11, staking SBU to a 4-1 lead to start the game. Taylor Ventre deposited the second of her career-high three goals to maintain the three-goal cushion, 5-2, on a free-position goal.

From there though, GW chipped away with five straight goals to bridge the halftime gap, including Casey Disharoon's eventual game-winner with five ticks left in the first frame, to earn a berth into the Atlantic 10 Championship.

Mackenzie Jordan (two goals) and Elspeth McGarry (goal, assist) notched two points apiece for the Bonnies. Karly Kocis saved 11 shots and sits in fourth place on the all-time saves list (223).

With the Colonials leading 12-6 with 19:20 to go, the Bonnies mounted a three-goal run to pull within striking distance, 12-9. The teams traded scores to maintain the margin, before GW pulled away for good with four goals over a 5:36 stretch that put it out of reach.

Following the game, the Bonnies honored the contributions of seniors Cizenski, Cassie Stubbs, Marissa Morrill, Stepahnie Dezio, Daisy Timlin, Kristi Tamasitis, Drabin, Elizabeth Demara and Emily Kane.
