The 2026 St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse campaign was one for the history books as the Bonnies broke a handful of program records and reached the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament, making a postseason appearance for the third time in head coach
LeighAnn Stauffer's four years at the helm.

The Bonnies compiled an overall record of 11-8, going 6-3 in conference play. The team finished the regular season with three straight wins to close the regular season, earning the number three seed in the conference tournament.

Once there, Bonaventure collected its first A-10 Tournament win in program history, taking down sixth-seeded George Washington, 10-8, in the quarterfinals. The victory sent the Bonnies to their fifth conference semifinals appearance of all-time and their first in the current six-team A-10 playoff format.

TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Regular Season:
- Bona's 11 total wins were the most in a single season since 2006, when the team started out 12-0 and won 14 total games.
- The Bonnies earned their 12th conference victory in the past two seasons, marking the most across any two-year span in program history.
- The team surpassed eight wins for the third straight season, doing so for the first time since its five-year stretch of meeting the mark from 2003 to 2007.
- The Brown and White went 6-4 on the road with four of those wins coming in A-10 matchups against Davidson, Rhode Island, George Mason and La Salle.
- The team ranked second in the conference and 15th in the nation in draw control percentage (58.8Â percent). It also ranked third in the conference and 28th in the nation in scoring defense, allowing just 8.68 goals per game.
Postseason:
- SBU took the No. 3 seed in the A-10 Tournament after winning a three-team tiebreaker with Davidson and Saint Joseph's on the basis of head-to-head goal differential, matching the highest postseason seeding in program history, last achieved in 2006.
- The Bonnies earned their first ever A-10 Tournament victory on April 30, taking down sixth-seeded George Washington in the quarterfinals by a score of 10-8.
- On May 1, the team appeared in its first ever conference semifinals game since the A-10 switched to a six-team playoff format, falling to VCU, 18-11. It was Bona's fifth conference semifinals of all-time.

PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS
Six different Bonnies earned Atlantic 10 postseason awards in 2026, marking a new program best.
SBU student-athletes earned a total of seven weekly A-10 awards, matching a program best set in 2006.
The Bonnies boasted 14 different point-scorers.

ALL-CONFERENCEÂ HIGHLIGHTS
Brooke Piper
- The captain was named the program's first ever Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year, also earning spots on both the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team.
- Piper broke the program's career scoring record against Duquesne (3/18) when she scored her 155th goal on the first possession, going on to score nine points on seven goals and two assists.
- The Aurora, Ontario native also set two Bona's single-game records with 11 points and nine goals against La Salle (4/18).
- She scored 60 goals, which tied for the lead in the A-10 and ranked and 11th across all of Division I.
- Piper's 69 total points stood third in the conference and 40th nationally.
- Her goal total was good for the third-highest in a single season in program history while her point total ranked eighth in the same manner.
- The captain recorded 12 hat tricks on the season, paving the way for the Bonnies' offense in many contests.
- She tallied 61 total draw controls, the second-most on the team and sixth-most in single-season program history, while adding 27 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers.
- With three A-10 Offensive Player of the Week selections this season, Piper collected the most such honors in the conference this year as well as the most in Bonnies single-season history.
- Piper was named to the A-10 All-Championship Team after scoring six goals and adding two assists and 14 draw controls in the conference tournament.
Brit Colangelo
- The Scarborough, Ontario native was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year, marking SBU's first selection since St. Bonaventure Athletics Hall of Famer Eboni Preston won the award in 2008.
- The captain led the conference with 40 caused turnovers, a total that ranks fourth in single-season program history. She also ranked 21st nationally caused turnovers per game in the nation (2.35).
- Colangelo scooped 43 groundballs this season, good for the most on the team and second-most in the conference.
- She was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week after causing six turnovers and securing three groundballs across two games against Furman (3/4) and Davidson (3/7).
Megan Schillinger
- The Rush, N.Y. native was named an Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team selection for the second straight season.
- She controlled 84 total draw controls on the season, ranking fourth in the conference and second in single-season program history while extending her existing lead on the program's all-time draw controls leaderboard (312).
- Schillinger scored 24 goals and nine assists while starting in all but one contest, ranking third on the team in points.
- Schillinger was named to the A-10 All-Championship Team after scoring four goals and adding two assists and seven draw controls in the conference tournament.
Riley Milligan
- The Weddington, N.C. native was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team after scoring 28 points on 18 goals and 10 assists in her rookie campaign.
- Milligan placed fifth on the team in points.
- She recorded six games with multiple goals and three games with multiple assists, also tallying a hat trick against George Mason (4/11).
Gracie Williams
- The Cattaraugus, N.Y. native was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team after scoring 24 points on 16 goals and eight assists as a freshman.
- She scored a single-game career high of five goals against La Salle (4/18) and was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week after scoring four points (3G-1A) against George Mason (4/11), a game in which she notched a hat trick before halftime.
Brooke Owens
- The Syracuse, N.Y. native was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team after starting in all 16 games and securing 27 groundballs, the second-most on the team.
- Owens posted two single-game career highs against La Salle (4/18) as she tallied four groundballs and three caused turnovers.
- Her 14 total caused turnovers were the fifth-most of any Bonnie this year.
