The Short Story:
 In its Atlantic 10 opener, the St. Bonaventure men's tennis team was defeated at Duquesne on Friday evening, 6-1. Sophomore Eduardo Irizarry earned the only point for the Bonnies in the first singles match against , 6-4, 2-6, 10-9. In the other singles matches the Brown and White were bested as they all lost in straight sets. In the doubles matches, St. Bonaventure's top team of Irizarry and Javier Ortiz was beaten, 8-3, while the third team of Trevor Haskell and Celso de Vera Rehberger fell, 8-2.

Looking Ahead:
St. Bonaventure looks for their first win Saturday (Feb. 1) when they take on the Richmond Spiders. The Spiders are currently 1-2 (0-1) and were selected to finished third in the Atlantic 10.
