The Short Story:
The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team struggled on Sunday, October 12 as it fell to Duquesne, 5-0.

The Dukes jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 7th minute as Kadeem Pantophlet received a pass inside the box and tapped it in. Duquesne extended its lead just six minutes later when Chris Alescio volleyed the ball off his chest and lobbed the ball into the top left corner of the goal.

Duquesne then scored three times in the second half to seal the victory. The first goal was scored in the 75th minute off a free kick that was saved by the Jeremy Figler, but on the rebound Austin Lange blasted the ball into the back of the net. Just two minutes later, Alex Healion headed the ball into bottom left corner off a cross from Isaiah Noreiga. In the closing minute of the game, Saul Kaye stole the ball away from a St. Bona defender and beat the SBU goalkeeper on a one-versus-one situation.
