The Short Story:
The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team suffered its fourth straight loss after allowing two late second half goals against the Davidson Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 18.
After a scoreless first-half, Davidson broke the tie in the 72nd minute off an Alan Reiter goal. Luke Blades sent a shot on target, which required the St. Bonaventure goalkeeper, Jeremy Figler, to push the ball away, but Reiter was there to put home the rebound.
In just seven minutes later, the Wildcats extended their lead by a goal from Luke Blades that was assisted by Maxi Pragnell and Nathan Marder. Blades received a through-ball and was able to beat the SBU netkeeper.
St. Bonaventure's Blagoja Dimitrievski, Breno Calegari and Kieran Toland each recorded a shot on goal.
Jeremy Figler was asked to make seven saves throughout the game.Â

- The 'Cats outshot St. Bonaventure, 20-8. The Bonnies had four shots in each period of play. Â
- The Bonnies had eight shots on the night with three testing the goalkeeper. Steve Carcettero led St. Bonaventure with two shots.
- The Brown and White only committed four fouls, while Davidson had eight. Each team received one yellow card. Â
- Jaskamal Singh, Garrett Pasono, Nicholas Perillo and Kieran Toland completed the full 90 minute match without being subbed once.
