How It Happened:
- The first half was close throughout as neither team led by more than four points and there were seven lead changes.
- A three-point play by Ndoye gave the Bonnies a 23-19 lead at the 9:19 mark.
- Andell Cumberbatch was whistled for a controversial flagrant foul that helped Ohio re-take the lead; Ryan Taylor made two free throws and then a three-pointer that put the Bobcats ahead 23-21.
- Denzel Gregg made his season debut after he sat out the first six games this season on a team suspension. Gregg made an immediate impact with four points and an emphatic blocked shot in the first half.
- The first half ended with the Bonnies trailing 37-36.
- A technical foul was called against Posley early in second half, and after two free throws Ohio led 44-41.
- The technical seemed to spark the Bonnies and Posley. The junior made a three-pointer and followed that with a layup to key a 9-0 run that put St. Bonaventure I front 50-44 with 12:21 left.
- Taylor hit a jumper to pull Ohio within 53-50, but from that point the Bonnies took control with an 11-5 run that ended with a Posley three-pointer at the 7:22 mark. St. Bonaventure led 64-53 at that point.
- Ndoye slammed home a Cumberbatch miss, and Posley then drained another three-pointer, his fourth of the day, to extend the Bonnies' lead to 15 at 73-58 with 4:30 left. This was their largest lead of the game.
- Ohio cut the lead down to six at 74-68 with 1:35 remaining but that was as close as the Bobcats came. Adams and Cumberbatch made two free throws each on ensuing possessions to help the Bonnies stay in control.
- The Bonnies made their final seven free throws of the game.
