Quotes from St. Bonaventure coach Mark Schmidt:

  • "St. Joe's played extremely well offensively. They were hard to guard. We knew their starting five were really good and against a team like that, those role guys can't have an effect on the team. I thought [Isaiah] Miles was the difference. Their bench played well for them, and we didn't get our normal production from our bench, which has been really good for us all year."
  • "Knowing that Kanacevic was out of the game, Galloway took over. He made big shots when (St. Joseph's) needed them. He's a heck of a player."
  • "I'm really proud of our seniors. Matthew, Marquise and Charlon played their hearts out. … I've been privileged to coach them. They've been a very positive influence on this University. They helped us win an Atlantic 10 title. It's sad to lose them."

Up Next: The Bonnies have a bye in the middle of next week and will be off until next Saturday, March 8, when they travel to take on VCU for the regular season finale at 7:00 pm.
