The Short Story: A furious second half comeback came up a few minutes short as St. Bonaventure lost to a veteran Bowling Green team 76-65 in the second round of the WNIT on Monday night at the Stroh Center.

St. Bonaventure struggled throughout the first half and found itself trailing 36-15 at halftime. The Bonnies looked like a different team in the second half and gradually climbed back into the game. Katie Healy's jumper with 4:00 left capped a 14-5 run that pulled the Bonnies within 65-57, but that was as close as the visitors came as the Falcons made free throws down the stretch to hang on and advance. The Bonnies outscored BG 50-40 in the second half.

St. Bonaventure's season ends at 24-11, the second most wins in school history.

Sophomore forward Katie Healy led the Bonnies with 22 points and classmate Hannah Little had 17 points and 18 rebounds.

Bowling Green, which is now 15-0 on its home court, advanced to the WNIT's third round and will host Michigan on Thursday.

• St. Bonaventure is now 7-5 all-time in postseason games. The Bonnies have advanced to at least the second round in all four of their WNIT appearances.
• The Bonnies lost for only the second time this season when they outrebounded their opponent.
• Chelsea Bowker, who scored two points on Monday, finished her career with 988 points. She finishes her career with the most wins by any Bona player over her four year career with 99.
• For the second consecutive game, Little broke the school record for most rebounds in a postseason game with her 18.
• Healy's 22 points was the third 22-point game by a player in the program's postseason history and her 13th game this season of 20 or more points.
• Michael became the third player in program history to make three three-pointers in a postseason game.
• Healy's 579 points this season are the fourth-most in a season by a St. Bonaventure player. Her 206 field goals are the third most in a season.
• Healy's 167 free throws are the second most in a season in program history.
• Little and Healy put together a season of rebounds that will be hard to top. Little finished with a school record 328 rebounds, while Healy's 272 rebounds are the second most by a player in a season.
• Healy's 38 blocked shots this season tied Vachelle Manly (1991-92) for the second-most blocks in a season.

Up Next: The Bonnies' season ends with a record of 24-11, the second most wins in a season in the program's history behind only the 31-win Sweet 16 campaign of 2011-12. The Bonnies will lose only one player, graduate student Chelsea Bowker. The future is certainly bright with four returning starters, all of whom will be juniors.
