The Starting Five Notes:
1. St. Bonaventure heads south to visit Richmond for the first of this season's home-and home series between the teams. Both teams are 1-1 in Atlantic 10 play, with the Bonnies hoping to bounce back from Thursday's loss to Dayton while the Spiders come off a home win over George Mason. St. Bonaventure is 4-2 away from home this season.

2. Junior guard Marcus Posley, who is in his first season at St. Bonaventure, has been the impact scorer that the Bonnies hoped he would be. Posley has scored at least 16 points seven games in a row and leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 17.5 points per game. Posley's 2.7 three-pointers per game rank second in the A-10, and his six 20-point games are tied for the most in the A-10.

3. St. Bonaventure's back court of Posley and freshman point guard Jay Adams has been productive all season. They combine to average 29 points per game and shoot 37 percent from three-point range.

4. Senior center Youssou Ndoye is the centerpiece of the Bona defense. He had a streak of 10 games with at least rebounds in 10 straight games - tied for the longest such streak in NCAA Div. I this season - snapped on Thursday when he grabbed nine against Dayton. The 7-footer leads the A-10 in blocked shots and ranks second in rebounding (11.5).

5. Junior forward Dion Wright has become a consistent scorer and rebounder. A big part of why the Bonnies are one of the A-10's best rebounding teams, Wright stands second on the team in both scoring (12.9) and rebounding (7.9). His 3.9 offensive rebounds per game are second-best in the Atlantic 10 and 10th-best nationally.

Series Notes:
This will be the 20th meeting in a series that Richmond leads 14-5; the teams split the last four games. Last season, each team won on its home court.

Richmond Notes:
• The Spiders defeated George Mason 76-65 on Thursday at the Robins Center to even their A-10 record at 1-1. The Spiders opened conference play with an 81-67 loss at Davidson.
• Senior guard Kendall Anthony leads Richmond in scoring at 15.7 points per game. The 5-foot-8 Anthony, who was a preseason all-conference pick, is shooting 47 percent from the field including 37 percent (26-70) from three-point range.
• Junior forward Terry Allen (11.3) and sophomore forward T.J. Cline (10.3) also average in double figures. Allen leads Richmond in rebounding at 5.5 per game.
• The Spiders shoot 46 percent on the season as a team, which is third-best in the A-10, and are second in the A-10 in turnover margin. They are last in the A-10 in rebound margin (-5.9).

St. Bonaventure's Last Game: Dayton 78, Bonnies 61
Dayton went 14-24 from behind the three-point line en route to the win on Thursday at the Reilly Center. The Bonnies trailed 39-33 early in the second half but the Flyers opened a 16-point lead by the 9:00 mark. Marcus Posley led St. Bonaventure with 17 points. Youssou Ndoye saw his streak of games with 10-plus rebounds end at 10 as he finished with nine boards.

A-10 Scoring Leader
Replacing 2014 graduate Matthew Wright, who averaged 16.3 points per game last season and scored over 1,000 career points, was a tall task for the Bona program. Marcus Posley, however, has gained the confidence of Bonnies coaches and fans. After scoring at least 16 points in each of the last seven games, he now leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 17.5 points per game. Posley has six 20-point games this season, topped by a career high 26 vs. Maryland Eastern Shore. He's only failed to reach double figures once and shoots 42 percent overall – 36 percent from three-point range. Posley is 35-98 on three-pointers, good for second in the A-10 in three-point field goals per game (2.7). Posley has scored before; as a freshman point guard at Ball State in 2012-13, he averaged 6.5 points per game in a reserve role. Last season at Indian Hills Junior College, when he switched to shooting guard, he averaged 13.5 points a game.

Ndoye Leads Bonnies
While his scoring has fluctuated this season, 7-0 senior center Youssou Ndoye's defense and rebounding have remained a constant.
• Ndoye leads the A-10 in blocked shots (3.0 per game) and ranks second in the A-10 in rebounding (11.3). He ranks fifth in NCAA Division I in rebounding and 14th in blocked shots.
• Ndoye had a streak of 10 consecutive games with least 10 rebounds that was snapped in the Dayton game, when he grabbed nine boards. The streak tied for the longest such run in NCAA Division I this season with RaShid Gaston of Norfolk State.
• Ndoye's average of 8.2 defensive rebounds per game ranks fifth nationally.
• Three times already this season, he has grabbed 13 rebounds - UMass, Buffalo and Binghamton.
• Ndoye has also blocked at least one shot in every game this season with nine games of three or more rejections.
