The Starting Five Notes:
1. St. Bonaventure hosts George Mason in the Fibertech Conference Classic. It will be the first Atlantic 10 Conference game ever played at Blue Cross Arena. It will be St. Bonaventure's fifth game at Blue Cross Arena in seven years.
2. Junior guard Marcus Posley, who is in his first season at St. Bonaventure, has been the impact scorer that the Bonnies hoped he would be. Posley ranks third in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 16.7 points per game. His 2.5 three-pointers per game rank sixth in the A-10, and his six 20-point games are tied for the most in the A-10.
3. Senior center Youssou Ndoye is the centerpiece of the Bona defense. The 7-footer leads the A-10 in blocked shots and ranks second in rebounding (10.9). He had a streak of 10 games with at least 10 rebounds - tied for the longest such streak in NCAA Div. I this season - snapped last week.
4. Junior forward Dion Wright has become a consistent scorer and rebounder. A big part of why the Bonnies are one of the A-10's best rebounding teams, Wright stands second on the team in both scoring (12.6) and rebounding (7.6). His 3.7 offensive rebounds per game are second-best in the Atlantic 10 and 10th-best nationally.
5. Senior swingman Andell Cumberbatch is the Bonnies' second-leading scorer in conference games, averaging 10.7 points per game over the three A-10 contests.
St. Bonaventure's Last Game: Richmond 60, Bonnies 41
Sunday afternoon in Richmond, Va., offense was hard to come by as the Bonnies dropped a 60-41 decision to the Richmond Spiders. Despite playing all but one minute of the first half without Youssou Ndoye, who had picked up two early fouls, St. Bonaventure trailed by only two points at halftime (25-23). It was a 36-31 game when Richmond scored eight unanswered points to open its largest lead of the game to that point at 44-31 with 8:52 remaining. From that point, the Bonnies could not come any closer than 11 points.
In the second half, St. Bonaventure went cold and made only seven of its 28 shots (25 percent). Richmond wound up shooting 14-25 (56 percent) over the final 20 minutes. Marcus Posley, the A-10's leading scorer, started out making only one of his first seven shots. He finished the game 3-12 for six points, tied for his season low. The Bonnies' 41 points were a season low.
Series Notes:
This will be only the fifth meeting between the schools and the second for them as Atlantic 10 Conference members. The all-time series is tied at 2-2.
George Mason Notes:

• Head coach Paul Hewitt is a 1985 graduate of Rochester's St. John Fisher College. He previously was head coach at Siena and Georgia Tech, where he guided the Yellowjackets to the Final Four in 2004.
