The Starting Five Notes:
1. Winners of three straight, St. Bonaventure visits Rhode Island for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Rams, who are also 4-2. This will be the only regular season meeting between the teams.
2. Junior guard Marcus Posley scored a career high 36 points at Duquesne on Thursday. He tied the school record with eight three-pointers. Posley is the leading scorer in the Atlantic 10 at 18.5 points per game, and his nine 20-point games are the most of any A-10 player. Over the last three games, Posley averaged 27 points per game. He made 27-57 (.508) of his shots overall – 18-34 (.529) from three-point range.
3. Senior center Youssou Ndoye was last week's A-10 Co-Player of the Week. The 7-footer set a career high with 28 points against George Mason. He averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks over two wins last week. Ndoye is second in the A-10 in both rebounding (11.0) and blocked shots (2.9/game). Over the past three games, Ndoye was 18-25 from the field and averaged 21 points.
4. St. Bonaventure's 4-2 start to Atlantic 10 play is its best since the 2011-12 team opened with five wins in its first seven A-10 games. That team would go on to win the A-10 Tournament championship. The Bonnies' three-game A-10 win streak matches their longest of last season; the last time a Bona team won four A-10 games in a row was 2012.
5. Freshman point guard Jay Adams has continued his solid play into the conference season. He has 37 assists and only eight turnovers in A-10 play. Adams tied the school record with 14 assists at Duquesne on Thursday, and he also made the game-winning jumper with 20 seconds left in overtime.

Posley Regains A-10 Scoring Lead Thanks To Hot Streak
Marcus Posley has been one of the top scorers in the Atlantic 10 all season. After an uncharacteristic game at Richmond when he scored only six points, Posley has gone on a hot streak that has seen him re-take the A-10 scoring lead.
• Over the last three games, Posley averaged 27 points per game. He made 27-57 (.508) of his shots overall – 18-34 (.529) from three-point range.
• Posley had one of the best shooting nights ever by a St. Bonaventure player at Duquesne Jan. 22. He scored 36 points, the most by anyone in an A-10 game this season, including an incredible 12 over the final 2:35 when he led the Bonnies back from an 11-point deficit. Posley's three-pointer with six seconds left forced overtime. He went 8-11 from three-point range, tying the school record for three-pointers in a game. His 36 points are the second-most ever scored by a Bona player against an Atlantic 10 opponent behind only the 39 scored by Eric Mosley against UMass on Feb. 20, 2013 at the Reilly Center.
• Posley leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 18.5 points per game.
• He has nine 20-point games this season, the most of any A-10 player.
• Posley also leads the A-10 in three-point field goals per game (3.2).
• He has scored in double figures in 15 of 17 games.
• For the season, Posley shoots 42 percent overall – 38 percent from three-point range.
Jay Adams Continues Strong Play
Bonnies point guard Jay Adams has been more than a pleasant surprise; he's been one of the best freshmen in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Remarkably consistent, particularly for a freshman, Adams is fifth on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game.
• In the Jan. 22 overtime win at Duquesne, Adams scored the game-winner and tied the school record with 14 assists with no turnovers.
• In A-10 games, Adams has 37 assists against only eight turnovers.
• Adams ranks fourth in the A-10 in assists per game (4.1), ninth in assist-to-TO ratio and ninth in free throw percentage (.791).
• The Baltimore, Md., native scored a career high 26 points in a win at Ohio Dec. 6.
• Adams was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week two weeks in a row – the weeks ending Nov. 30 and Dec. 7.
