@BonniesGolf Wraps Up Play at Whistling Straits Intercollegiate

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – The St. Bonaventure University golf team finished up play at the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate on Tuesday with a team score of 327, wrapping up competition in 10th place for the tournament.

Tuesday's total gave St. Bonaventure a team score of 957 for the three round tournament. Towson took home top honors with a 907 score while Green Bay (913), Northern Iowa (914), Valparaiso (917) and Dayton (923) completed the top five.

Senior Josh Stauffer shot 79 on Tuesday at the par-72 Irish Course, finishing with a total of 237 (+21) for 54 holes, tying for 30th overall on the individual leaderboard. Sophomore Corey Long totaled 81 to finish tied for 34th (82-77-81-240) while Darren Simons carded an 85 on Tuesday to finish at 245. Freshman Brent Morgan recorded an 82 (80-88-82-250) while sophomore Patrick Sheerer finished at 91 (88-73-91-252).

The Bonnies wrap up their fall season with a trip to the Dayton Invitational next Monday and Tuesday.
