DAYTON, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University golf team stands in a tie for 14th after the first day at the Dayton Invitational.

The Bonnies finished day one with a total team score of 322 (+38).

Senior Josh Stauffer led the way for the Brown and White on Monday with a 77 (+6). Stauffer is tied for 19th in the field of 100 golfers. Graduate student Darren Simons shot 78 (+7) and sophomore Corey Long carded an 82 (+11). Also in the scoring for St. Bonaventure were freshmen Brent Morgan and Matt Abendroth who each shot 85 (+14).

The tournament wraps up on Tuesday with play beginning at 10 a.m.
