DAYTON, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University golf team completed the fall portion of its schedule on Tuesday at the Dayton Invitational, turning in a team score of 311 to finish 15th.
The Bonnies improved their team score by 11 shots from Monday's first round and finished the tournament with a total of 633 (322-311, +65).
Senior Josh Stauffer tied for 20th on the individual leaderboard out of 100 golfers, carding a five-over 76 on Tuesday (77-76-153). Graduate student Darren Simons also shot a round of 76 and tied for 26th overall (78-76-154).
Sophomore Corey Long fired 77 in the second round (82-77-159). Also in the scoring for the Bonnies were freshmen Matt Abendroth (85-82-167) and Brent Morgan (85-83-168).
