The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and Diving team performed well Saturday afternoon at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
The Bonnies swam against fellow A-10 member school's Saint Louis, La Salle and Duquesne at the site of the A-10 Championship in February.
The lone St. Bonaventure win came when Liz Malone won the 200-yd butterfly. The senior took home the top position with a final time of 2:09.60. Malone also finished third overall in the 100-yd butterfly with a time of 59.63.
Other notable performances for the Bonnies were Maria Rocchi and Alyssa Levac who both set season-best times competing in the 200-yd breastroke. Rocchi finished third in the event with a time of 2:26.05, Levac finishing in sixth place with a final time of 2:28.45.
Tanja Kirmse placed third overall in the 200-yd freestyle. Kirmse finished with a final time of 2:55.65.
In the 1 meter diving event, Brittany Hart finished second with a final dive score of 215.50, finishing just four points out of first place.
Coach Carlson was very pleased with her team's performance saying "Today was a long meet with a tough format, but it was great to see people swim and dive so well, especially at the A-10 Championship pool,"
Carlson added "A meet like this is really beneficial to see where we are at within the conference, but come Monday, we are back to work."

The Bonnies be back in the pool Saturday, Nov. 7th when they travel to Cleveland State for a 1 P.M. meet against the Vikings.
