BOSTON – The St. Bonaventure University women's cross country team wrapped up the season by competing in the Northeast Regional Championships hosted by Boston College on Friday, finishing in 37th place.
Senior Aubrie Russell again paced the Bonnies, running the 6K course in a time of 24:11. That time placed Russell in 205th place out of 256 competitors and was also the ninth-best 6K time in Bonnies history.
Freshman Emily Izydorcak followed with a time of 24:28 and sophomore Hailey Gattuso finished in 24:36. Freshman Rachel Guyer crossed the finish line in 25:03 and sophomore Nicolette DiMura completed the Bonnies top five runners by finishing the course in 25:18.
Also competing for the Bonnies were freshman Lindsay Weaver (26:05) and junior Julia Mericle (26:35).
