The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team remains in third place after the second day of competition at the Pittsburgh Invitational.
In the first event of the night the 200-yd medley relay, St. Bonaventure finished ninth overall. The relay team of Devon McFadden, Maria Rocchi, Elizabeth Malone and Rachel Taylor posted a time of 1:47.05.
In the 400-yd individual medley, sophomore Alyssa Levac posted a sixth place finishswimming a time of 4:34.58.
Elizabeth Malone swam well for St. Bonaventure in the 100-yd butterfly. The senior finished fourth overall swimming a time of 56.76.
In the 200-yd freestyle, the Bonnies placed two swimmers in the top eight. Junior Maggie Woods finished eighth overall with a time of 1:53.91. Senior Tanja Kirmse was the top finisher for St. Bonaventure finishing third overall with a final time of 1:50.52
In the 100-yd backstroke, the Bonnies again placed two swimmers in the top eight. Freshman Rachel Taylor finished sixth overall in the event with a final time of 58.48. Sophomore Devon McFadden continues to swim well. McFadden finished fifth overall with a final time of 57.77.
In the 3-meter diving event, freshman Brittany Hart placed sixth overall with a final dive score of 230.10.
n the final event of the night, the 800-yd freestyle relay the Bonnies finished fourth overall. The team of Tanja Kirmse, Shannon Haberman, Rachel Taylor and Maggie woods posted a time of 7:36.21.
