The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team finished third overall at the Pittsburgh Invitational.
The Bonnies accumulated 1184.5 total team points over the three day meet. The University of Pittsburgh won the meet with 2725 total team points, Bowling Green finished second with 2364.5 team points.
In the first event of the final day of competition, Shannon Haberman finished sixth overall in the 1650 free. The senior swam a final time of 17:26.52.
In the 200-yd backstroke, sophomore Devon McFadden posted a ninth place finish swimming a time of 2:06.12. Senior Adelyn Graf finished seventh overall swimming a final time of 2:04.65.
In the 200-yd butterfly the Bonnies placed three swimmers in the top eight. Freshman Adele Ferris finished in seventh place with a final time of 2:08.33. Senior Elizabeth Malone finished in fourth place touching the wall in a time of 2:05.71. The Bonnies top finisher in the event was senior Tanja Kirmse. Kirmse finished second overall with a time of 2:03.69.
In the 400-yd freestyle relay, the last race of the meet, St. Bonaventure finished fifth overall. The team of Kirmse, McFadden, Maggie Woods and Rachel Taylor posted a time of 3:31.42.
