The Short Story:
The St. Bonaventure Men's Tennis team hit the road and traveled to Youngstown State and Cleveland State for their first two-match road swing. The Bonnies would come up short falling to Youngstown State by a score of 5-2, while being blanked by Cleveland State, 7-0.
YSU snagged the first two doubles matches before the pairing of Haskell and Desanto gave the Bonnies their first win of the match.The Bonnies won the first singles match, but YSU would go on to win five of the last six to secure the victory.
St. Bonaventure was held pointless on Sunday at Cleveland State. St. Bonaventure lost all six single matches in straight sets. A duo of Eduardo Irizzary and Andrew Blair led in the first doubles match, 4-3, but since Cleveland State won the second and third doubles match prior, the match remained unfinished and the double point was earned by Cleveland State.
