St. Bonaventure finished 10th in the 12-team Rutherford Intercollegiate at Penn State, which was completed Sunday.
In Sunday's final round, the Bonnies shot 307 at the par-71 Blue Course to end the 54-hole tournament with a score of 918. St. Bonaventure ended up three shots behind A-10 rival George Washington for ninth place.
Host Penn State won the Rutherford title with a score of 868 - eight shots better than second place Eastern Michigan.
Junior Josh Stauffer earned a top-20 finish. Sunday, he posted his second straight two-over par 73 for a tournament total of 222 (+9).
Senior Daniel Dunnigan shot 78 Sunday for a total of 230. He finished in a tie for 40th place.
St. Bonaventure's other two counting scores in the final round were a 77 by junior Patrick Milkovich and a 79 from freshman Corey Long. Long finished in a tie for 54th at 234. Both Milkovich and freshman Patrick Sheerer ended in at 236. Sheerer carded an 80 on Sunday.
Binghamton's Jack Sedgewick edged Georgetown's Sam Madsen in a one-hole playoff on 18 to claim medalist honors; the players tied at one-under 212 after 54 holes.
St. Bonaventure's final competition of the year will be the Atlantic 10 Championship April 24-26 at Harmony Golf Preserve in Harmony, Fla.
