Sophomore Victor Blanco highlighted the St. Bonaventure men's tennis trip to the Joe Hunt Invitational hosted by the Naval Academy, finishing third place in singles action.
Blanco defeated Stephen Ong in the first round 6-2, 6-2. In the second round Blanco lost the first game 3-6 to Michael Sienko, but rebounded to take the next two games by identical 6-2 scores to advance to Saturdays' semifinal match.
On saturday, Blanco would fall 6-0, 6-4 to the #3 seed and eventual tournament champion Elliott Loubatie of UMBC. In the third place match, Blanco defeated Tucker Massie 6-4, 6-0 to take home third place.
St. Bonaventure also recieved singles victories from Hector Martinez 6-4, 7-5 over Alex Drean, and Eduardo Irizzary defeated Jack Murphy 6-4, 7-6.

St. Bonavenutre will conclude it's fall schedule at the ITA regionals Oct. 23-27. The tournament will be hosted by Yale.
