Virginia Tech swept St. Bonaventure's men's tennis team 7-0 Friday, Feb. 5.
Junior Eduardo Irizarry played well early on, but was ultimately defeated Andreas Bjerrehus by scores of 6-1, 6-2. Miki Nobuzawa also played well working hard but was also defeated by scores of 6-4, 6-0 to Mitch Harper.
The Bonnies were swept in all three doubles matches. The partnership of Hector Martinez and Miki Nobuzawa rallied for a 5-3 score, but were unable to finish.
