@BonniesGolf Finishes Play at Bash at the Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The St. Bonaventure University golf team wrapped up its play in the Bash at the Beach at The Surf Golf and Beach Club, finishing 14th out of 19 teams.

The Bonnies finished with a total team score of 891 for the three-round tournament, recording a 301 in Tuesday's final round. James Madison pulled away from the field, easily winning with an 839 team score ahead of Arkansas State (854), Gardner-Webb (857), Western Kentucky (861) and Belmont (862).

Josh Stauffer and Patrick Milkovich each carded 73s for the Bonnies with Stauffer tying for 32nd on the individual leaderboard (68-78-73/219). Milkovich tied for 43rd (77-71-73/221).

Darren Simons came home with a 76 while Corey Long (80) and Brent Morgan (79) rounded out the scoring for St. Bonaventure. Playing as an individual, Patrick Sheerer recorded shot 78 on the day.

Next up for Bona is a trip to the Villanova Wildcat Invitational March 28-29 in Malvern, Pa.
