@BonniesGolf Finishes 17th In Greenbrier Invitational; Stauffer Ends 30th

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – Despite a solid round of 299 in Tuesday's final round, the St. Bonaventure golf team finished 17th in the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational.

At the Old White TPC Golf Course at The Greenbrier, the Bonnies could not make a move up against a very competitive field and finished last with a 54-hole total of 904. Siena was 16th at 895. East Tennessee State won the team title at 846.

Senior Josh Stauffer shot a three-over par 73 on Tuesday to lead the Bonnies. He finished in a tie for 30th in the field of 88 players at 220 (+10).

Freshman Matt Abendroth and graduate student Darren Simons both shot 75 in the final round while freshman Brent Morgan shot 76. Seniors Pat Milkovich finished with an 81.

Abendroth tied for 64th with a three-round total of 225 while Simons ended at 231, Morgan at 235 and Milkovich 241.

St. Bonaventure's next action will be April 23-24 at UConn's 'Til Duty Is Done Collegiate.
