ORLANDO, Fla. – The St. Bonaventure golf team wrapped up play at the Atlantic 10 Championships on Sunday, finishing 11th overall.
The Bonnies turned in a team score of 317 on Sunday to finish a 949 total for the week (319-313-317). VCU won its third straight conference championship at 882, seven strokes ahead of Richmond.
Senior Josh Stauffer, the Bonnies' career birdies leader, completed a stellar career for the Brown and White with a 76 in the final round to stand in a tie for 32nd on the individual leaderboard (79-79-76/234).
Fellow senior Patrick Milkovich also played in his final round as a Bonnie, carding a 76 to complete a 236 for the week (83-77-76/236).
Sophomore Corey Long posted 84 on Sunday (76-77-84/237) and freshman Matt Abendroth brought his first A-10 championship to a close with a final round 81 (81-84-81/246).
Graduate student Darren Simons also teed it up for the last time in Brown and White, recording an 84 (87-80-84/251).
