LUTHERVILLE, MD. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team defeated Loyola (Md.), 5-2, grabbing wins in four singles matches and sweeping all three doubles events in its first action of the 2017 spring season.

The doubles team of Victor Blanco and Indra Patwardhan earned a win in their match while capturing wins in their respective singles matches.

Hector Martinez got it done in three sets, winning the third in convincing fashion, 6-0. 

Guillermo Garcia earned a win in his singles match and also came out victorious in his doubles match with Martinez. 

The final doubles win came from the pair of Lukas Linden Malmberg and John Rutkowski.

The Bonnies will be in action next on Sunday at Navy at 11:00 a.m.
