#Bonnies Men's Tennis Drops Lone Match of the Weekend at Penn State


STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team suffered a defeat at Penn State on Sunday evening, 7-0.

In No. 1 singles, Victor Blanco dropped the first set but played his opponent close in the second set and had a chance to force a third, 7-5. Guillermo Garcia in No. 3 singles played his opponent close but fell, 6-2, 6-4.

In No. 2 doubles, Guillermo Garcia and Hector Martinez worked two scores against their opponents in the defeat.

With the loss the Bonnies fall to 3-2 in the spring season. They will then open up Atlantic 10 action next weekend against Davidson and Virginia at Virginia Tech.
