PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team fell to Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's, 6-1, Saturday.
Indra Patwardhan picked up the lone Bona win in No. 3 singles. Down a set, he fought for a convincing 6-2 win in set two and came out on top 10-7 in the third set to secure the victory.
Lukas Linden Malmberg worked a close 6-4 score in set one to nearly take the set, but ultimately fell in straight sets in No. 4 singles.
The doubles pair of John Rutkowski and Guillermo Garcia were close with their opponents but fell, 6-4, in No. 2 doubles.
The Bonnies will stay in Philadelphia and take on Atlantic 10 rival La Salle at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
