PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team earned a 4-3 win at La Salle on Sunday.

St. Bonaventure got the afternoon started out right as they swept doubles play to earn the point.

The pair of Victor Blanco and Hector Martinez shutout their opponents in No. 1 doubles, 6-0, while the teams of Indra Patwardhan and Lukas Linden Malmberg, and John Rutkowski and Guillermo Garcia also picked up doubles wins.

Patwardhan worked a strong win in No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2, and Malmberg grabbed a convincing win in the No. 3 spot, as well, 6-0, 6-3.

Rutkowski earned the fourth Bona point as he came away with the No. 5 singles victory, 6-3, 6-4.

With the win, the Bonnies have now earned victories over two Atlantic 10 opponents.

The Bonnies will host Marist on Sunday at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center for Senior Day.
