STORYLINE
Both St. Bonaventure men's and women's teams will host Marist on Sunday at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center. Sunday's match will be the last home match as it is Senior Day for both teams, as Mara Martinez-Santori and Lauren Doversola, and Hristo Hristov perform in their final matches at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center.
BONNIES NEWS AND NOTES
- The men's and women's teams will look to continue the momentum as both are coming off of solid wins vs. La Salle, and both teams have also won two of their last three matches.
- The men's team is led by Lukas Linden Malmberg, Hector Martinez and Indra Patwardhan. Martinez has been solid at the No. 2 singles spot notching a 10-8 record. Patwardhan is an impressive 7-2 at No. 4 singles on the year.
- Malmberg has worked his way up the lineup this year for head coach Michael Bates. The former Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week has played in four different spots for a combined 14-12 record in singles action.
- The doubles pair of Patwardhan and Malmberg leads the Brown and White with five wins.
- The Bonnies women's team is coming off a 7-0 victory over La Salle in which they won all nine matches
- Gabriella Bowe has earned eight wins in No. 2 singles spot.
- Lauren Doversola has come on strong towards the end of the season as she leads the team with 10 singles wins, all coming in the No. 6 spot.
- Martinez-Santori and Bowe have notched eight doubles wins at the No. 1 spot.
- Kahlei Reisinger and Dominique Mortier each have eight singles wins.
ABOUT MARIST
- The men's tennis team comes into the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center with a 10-2 record.
- The Red Foxes have won their last five matches
- Marist is led by Javier Restrepo, who is 8-1 at No. 1 singles. Rudolf Kurz is 6-2 at No. 2 singles for the Red Foxes.
- The women's tennis team enters play with a 6-4 record.
- Chloe Lant is 4-3 at No. 1 singles and Sophia Moeller has an overall 7-3 record.
- In doubles, the pair of Callie Morlock and Claire Schmitz have a 6-1 record at the No. 1 spot.
