ST. BONAVENTURE at BLACK KNIGHT INVITE

STORYLINE
The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team will play in the Black Knight Invite this weekend hosted by Army West Point, in West Point, N.Y. starting on Saturday, Sept. 30 and concluding on Sunday, Oct. 1. Also competing in the event are Marist, Drexel and Army.

GARCIA, PATWARDHAN START STRONG
St. Bonaventure University men's tennis pair of Guillermo Garcia and Indra Patwardhan were winners of the consolation final in their doubles bracket on Sunday at the Navy Invitational.

Garcia, a native of Spain, earned GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week honors with a pair of singles wins and also a doubles consolation victory as he and his partner, Indra Patwardhan went 3-1.

WEEKEND PRIMER
The Black Knight Invite will begin at Marist on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with singles continuing all day until 4:30 p.m. On Sunday matches will be played at West Point beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until 2:00 p.m.

NEXT UP
Next up, the Bonnies will host the 10th annual Fall Classic Oct. 6-8 on campus at the St. Bonaventure University Outdoor Tennis Courts.
