ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Senior Dominique Mortier grabbed a victory at No. 3 singles on Saturday against Bucknell, but the St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team was defeated, 6-1.

After dropping her first set, Mortier won the second set to force a decisive third set against Cayla Koch. She ultimately defeated Koch, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.

In No. 1 doubles action, Gabriella Bowe and Kahlei Reisinger defeated the Bucknell pair of Lisa Jouravleva and Paige Leavy, 6-3.

Reisinger and Francesca Chin both played in three-set thrillers, but both dropped their matches in the final set.

The women's tennis team returns to the court Friday, Feb. 2 on the road at Buffalo. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
