OLEAN, N.Y. – Sophomore Indra Patwardhan and freshman Darrel Harxhi scored a win at No. 3 doubles on Saturday, but the St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team fell to Binghamton, 7-0.

Patwardhan and Harxhi defeated the Bearcat duo of Inigo Saez and Alejando Pena, 7-5. The doubles point went to Binghamton, however, as the Bearcats took the other matches.

In singles action, the Bonnies saw three matches go into the third set. Hector Martinez, Patwardhan and Ante Zovko all battled to force third sets before falling. Martinez fell to Tiago Lourenco, 2-6. 7-5, 6-1. Patwardhan was defeated by Saez, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 and Zovko lost a heartbreaker to Valentin Bouchet, 3-6, 7-6, 10-8.

The Brown and White are back in action next weekend with a pair of matches on Saturday, Feb. 10. SBU will square off against Atlantic 10 foe Richmond at 10:00 a.m. and close out the day against Virginia Tech at 1:30 p.m.
