WEST POINT, N.Y. – Senior Victor Blanco scored a win at No. 1 singles against Army and fellow senior Hector Martinez followed him by winning his match at. No. 1 against Fairfield. The Bonnies would fall, however, 6-1 to Army and 5-2 to Fairfield on Sunday.

Blanco defeated Greg Shannon in straight sets at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-3.

The Bonnies duo of Indra Patwardhan and Mitchell McGuirt grabbed a 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles over David Mitchell and Grant Patterson.

Lukas Linden Malmberg took his match at No. 4 singles to a third set, but ultimately fell to Mike Sienko 4-6, 6-2, 10-7.

In the Bonnies' second match of the day, Blanco and Malmberg took down the Fairfield pair of Anthony Caputo and Tyler Shibles, 7-5, at No. 1 doubles.

Hector Martinez and Malmberg each picked up singles victories for the Bonnies. At No. 1, Martinez defeated Shibles in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3. Malmberg also won in consecutive sets, 6-3, 7-6, over Caputo.

St. Bonaventure returns to the court Friday at Cornell. The match is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
