The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team is set for a pair of matches this week with one match on the road and the other at home. The Bonnies travel to Youngstown State for their third straight road match to begin 2019. Play is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, the Bonnies host Binghamton at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center in their 2019 spring home opener. The match is slated to start at 11:00 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
St. Bonaventure split its opening two matches of the season, defeated Loyola (MD) 6-1 last Friday evening. The Bonnies grabbed the doubles point and went on to win five out of six singles matches on the night. In their second match against Navy, the Bonnies fell 7-0 to conclude their weekend.

ABOUT YOUNGSTOWN STATE
The Penguins finished the 2018 season with a 12-11 record and 5-2 in the Horizon League. Youngstown State were defeated, 4-0, by Cleveland State in the Horizon League Tournament semifinals. The Penguins are led by three seniors on this year's team – Yossi Dahan, Luke Purser and Danylo Veremeichuk.

ABOUT BINGHAMTON
Binghamton enters the weekend with a 1-1 overall record with 7-0 win over Quinnipiac on Jan. 19. Last season, the Bearcats finished with record of 5-17 and 1-6 in the Mid-American Conference. Binghamton is led by four seniors – Valentin Bouchet, Ludovico Cestarollo, Josh Druger and Inigo Saez return for a final stint with the Bearcats.
