ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Duquesne Sunday morning at the SBU Fitness Center.

The Dukes started the match by taking the doubles point from the Bonnies.

Newcomers Stijn Paardekooper and Paolo Flores each nabbed wins for the Brown and White in singles action. Paardekooper needed three sets to defeat Tamirian Teberikov, 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, while Flores also needed three sets to beat Bode Vance, 6-0, 2-6, 10-7.

The Bonnies are back in action Sunday, Feb. 14 at the SBU Fitness Center when they host St. Francis (Pa.). That match is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m.
