POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The St. Bonaventure golf team wrapped its fall slate with three days of action at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate at Kilmarlic Golf Club.
St. Bonaventure recorded team scores of 312, 299 and 301 over the 54 holes.
Senior Lance Sininger led the way for the Bonnies, recording a 20th-place finish in the field of 83 players. He posted a final total of 1-over 218 after efforts of 75-71-72.
Graduate student Erik Stauderman registered a 5-over score for the week, with rounds of 75-76-76.
Fellow graduate Jack Angelucci bounced back nicely from an opening round 85 by carding 76 on day two and 74 in the final 18.
Also in the lineup for the Bonnies were Michael Bucko (78-76-83/237) and Peter Byrne (84-76-79/239).
The Bonnies finished 16th as a team.
St. Bonaventure was strong on the par-3s, standing fifth on the field at +2 for the tournament, and mid-pack on the par-5s (+1), but the team's Achilles' heel came on the par-4s (+26).
The Bonnies are now off for the winter months, returning to action Feb. 18-19 in Savannah, Ga.
