RICHMOND, Va. – Junior Nora Anderson netted a career-high four goals for the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team, but No. 20 Richmond proved too much for the Bonnies Thursday afternoon, taking a 24-9 final in Atlantic 10 action.

Anderson produced one of the best performances by a Bonnie against a nationally-ranked opponent in school history and provided the second hat trick of her collegiate career. She fired 11 shots on the day and also won four draw controls.

The Bonnies hung tough with the ranked Spiders during the opening 15 minutes, down just 5-2 after one period. Richmond proved its offensive firepower from there out, though, scoring seven times in each the second and third quarters.

Five Bonnies found the back of the net on the day. In addition to Anderson's great game, Fiona McGovern, Maddie Mazur, Rebecca Howe, Courtney Fox and Annie Dombrowski all tallied a goal apiece.

SBU found success on the draw, winning 16 draw controls on the day. Anderson, Mazur and Howe all won four draws each. Chloe Szot had two draw controls as well.

Jayne Manzelli, Teri Manzelli, Abby Hiltz and Callie Kessler all registered caused turnovers on the defensive end for Bona's.

Three Spiders tallied hat tricks – Arden Tierney and Lindsey Frank each had four goals and Sophia DiCenso posted three.

St. Bonaventure wraps up its southern swing with a date at VCU Saturday. Opening draw is slated for noon as the Bonnies remain in Richmond.
