POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Freshman

Â
All four combined goals came during the second half.
Â
After Marist opened up the second period with the lid-lifter following halftime, Komori scored her first collegiate goal off a chip shot past the keeper in the 56
th minute coming from a beautiful back header from senior midfielder
Christine Napoli for the tie.
Â
St. Bonaventure was able to continue to apply the pressure on Marist's 2021 MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year Natalie Kelchner.
Â
In the 63
rd minute, the Bonnies would take a 2-1 lead when Torres worked behind the Red Foxes defense and deposited a pass from senior defender
Kenzie Tarmino into the back of the net.
Â
However, Marist was able to strike again in the 74
th minute off a goal from Samantha Caldarelli to knot the score at two apiece, which would end up being the final score.
Â
Bonnies sophomore goalkeeper

Â
The Bonnies (0-0-1) were led in the first half by Gottinger's five saves, two of which came in the closing seconds of the half to keep the game scoreless.
Â

Â
