RICHMOND, Va. – Graduate student Jack Angelucci finished 54 holes in 4-under par after logging rounds of 71, 70, 71 to pace the St. Bonaventure golf team at the VCU Shootout held Monday and Tuesday at Tuckahoe Creek Golf Course.

Angelucci's 212 total was good for 28^th out of 75 players in the field.

The par 72 6,927-yard layout proved friendly for scoring with Angelucci carding 13 birdies during the tournament. In all, 41 players finished in red figures.

As a team, St. Bonaventure posted scores of 293, 298 and 287 for an 878 total that ranked 13^th out of 14 squads.

The Bonnies were 8-under at one point Tuesday in the final round before setting for 1-under at the end of the day's play.

Erik Stauderman played a sparkling round of 3-under 69 in Monday's opener before finishing with scores of 75 and 73. He finished at 217 for the week, tied for 49^th on the individual leaderboard.

Also in the lineup for the Bonnies were two freshmen in Michael Bucko (78-76-70/224) and Gabe Williams (75-77-77/229) with Bucko finishing the week at 2-under 70, good for his best collegiate round. Senior Lance Sininger was unable to play the first two rounds due to illness, but played Tuesday to the tune of 1-over 73.

St. Bonaventure returns to action by hosting the Little Three Championship at Bartlett Country Club Monday, Sept. 26.
