The Bonnies stormed back with an offensive onslot, scoring five goals in the final nine minutes of the first quarter to take a 5-4 lead.
St. Bonaventure cooled off in the second quarter, going scoreless on only four shot attempts while Canisius was able to hit a trifecta of goals en route to a 7-5 lead heading into halftime.
