Tempe, AZ – The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-13 decision on the road at Arizona State Saturday despite a fourth-quarter rally.
Arizona State got off to a hot start, quickly taking a 5-0 lead in the first before sophomore attack

The Bonnies were able to get their offense going in the second quarter as sophomore

Grace Hollenbeck, a second match goal for Notaro and McGovern completed a first half hat trick as the team went into the break.
Arizona State (1-0) would build its third quarter lead to eight, but St. Bonaventure (0-3) would not go away quietly.
McGovern added three fourth quarter goals and sophomore
Kassi Hogan would bring the team within three in the final minutes.
That would be as close as the Bonnies would get as the Sun Devils hung on to earn the victory.

Notaro added four goals for the Brown and White.
