St. Bonaventure University women's soccer head coach Donny George has announced the addition of four student-athletes to the Bonnies roster for the 2023 season.

Alessia Donia, Lillian Ma, Grace Baczek, and Juliana Castellano have all committed to play for the Brown and White this coming fall.

"The recruiting class of 2023 as a group has the tools to make impacts both as student-athletes, but also within our team culture," George said. "This group brings a little piece of everything, and I am very excited to have them with us. We have already started to integrate them into our environment; the team and myself are eager to get them here in the fall."

Alessia Donia joins the Bonnies from Aurora, Ontario, where she attended high school at St. Theresa of Lisieux. As a midfielder, she was named MVP of the team in her junior year. Donia played for Caledon FC club team and was a five-time provincial champion, while also earning a national silver medal. In the classroom she has notched academic honors in her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Outside of soccer, Donia participated in rugby and volleyball. At St. Bonaventure, Donia intends to major in sports management.

Coach George on Donia: "Alessia is an extremely intelligent and talented player. She comes from the Caledon Cyclones based in Toronto, which is a top youth team. She will add quality in the central areas of our team. I have no doubt Alessia has the potential to make an impact on the soccer field and within our team environment."

Coach George on Ma: "Lilly is an exceptional student-athlete that will help us in wide areas of the soccer field. She has the tools and personality to grow into a leader and has the potential to have an impactful role on and off the field.
