Bonnies Welcome Siena for Midweek Matchup

The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team will take on Siena on Wednesday, March 1. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Complex and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ROOKIE CONTRIBUTIONS
  • The Brown and White have seen an abundance of steady play from a plethora of freshman to start the season.
  • Redshirt freshman Jessica Notaro has had a strong start to her Bonnies career, scoring eight goals and adding an assist in the team's first four games.
  • First-year midfielder Brooke Piper has eight points on the season so far, including a team-high six assists.
  • Freshman Megan Schillinger ranks third on the team with 5 goals, while fellow freshman Grace Hollenbeck has added two goals and an assist.
  • On the defensive side of the field, newcomer Brit Colangelo has scooped up a team leading 10 groundballs.
 
ABOUT SIENA
  • The Saints have begun the season with a 2-2 record, earning an 11-5 victory in their most recent contest against Binghamton.
  • Mary Soures (nine goals), Katy Wangsness (eight goals), and Kelly Logue (six goals) lead the team in scores this season.
  • Soures was named MAAC Preseason Player of the Year.
  • In net, Sabrina Krasner has started all four games and recorded 43 saves.
  • Siena was selected to second (68 points) in the 2023 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll.

  • The Bonnies will travel to Bucknell to battle the Bison on Saturday, March 4. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
